The tjg. theatre junge generation is the second oldest children's and youth theatre in Germany. Since its founding in 1949, it has undergone a great deal of change and yet has created a lasting core: productions for the generation up to 16. The offers already start for toddlers from the age of two.
Since December 2016, the tjg. has been based in the Kraftwerk Mitte near the city centre.
